Energia Marks Irish Rugby Sponsorship With New Campaign from Core

With the Guinness Six Nations tournament kicking off this weekend, Core has created a new creative campaign for Energia to highlight the brand’s sponsorship of Irish rugby as the official energy supplier of the IRFU and the sponsor of the Energia All Ireland League.

The new campaign is part of the brand’s “think of the possibilities” positioning and it celebrates the often un-sung heroes in the background that keep Irish rugby ticking over throughout the country.

“For every player who pulls on an Irish jersey, there’s an army of unsung heroes who make it all possible,” says Amy O’Shaughnessy, head of brand, Energia.

“ This campaign is a celebration of all those community volunteers and everyone behind the scenes in rugby clubs across Ireland,” she adds.

“Like so many people, we are looking forward to the Guinness Six Nations kicking off. We have enjoyed collaborating with Energia to develop this work which focuses on the people and energy behind the scenes which contribute to every great Irish rugby performance. When we sit down to watch the match, or leap up in celebration, we hope to remind everyone of those heroes in every rugby club who make the game we love, possible,” adds Al Barnewell, business director, Core.
