Upcoming Ipsos B&A Research to Shed Light on Advertising on Social Media Platforms

Ipsos B&A, IAPI and AAI will be co-hosting a morning seminar “Unleashing the Power of Social Media – a Global and Irish Perspective” that will take place on Thursday, May 22 in the offices of  Core  (1 Windmill Lane, Dublin 2), from 8.30am to 10.30am.

Ipsos B&A conducted the study which examined the effectiveness of selected Irish advertisements on specific social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok.  According to Ipsos B&A, “this study aimed to uncover best practices for social media advertising by utilising an innovative methodology that evaluated ads in a simulated social media environment, such as TikTok feeds, mimicking real-world digital ad exposure.”

The seminar will feature two prominent speakers from Ipsos who will discuss the effectiveness of social media advertising from both global and Irish viewpoints.

The first of these is Adam Sheridan, Global Head of Products for Ipsos Creative Excellence, based in the Ipsos London office,. Sheridan will take the audience through the latest social media advertising trends globally, discuss best practice and the pitfalls, using leading TikTok creative case studies and learnings from his ‘Misfit – how creativity in advertising sparks brand growth’ book.

Jimmy Larsen, Ipsos B&A, Director Ireland, based in the Ipsos B&A office in Dublin, will take the audience through key learnings from testing selected creative Irish social media ads in a mimicked social media environment/platform, including YouTube and TikTok, focusing on creative success and impact of platform.
