Agenda for IAB Connect 2021 on April 15 is Published

IAB Ireland has published the agenda for its forthcoming Connect 2021 online conference which takes place on April 15 between 2pm and 4pm.

The theme for Connect 2021 is Purpose in a time of Change and the event will be opened by Suzanne McElligott, CEO IAB Ireland who will share the topline results of the IAB Ireland PwC Online Adspend Study for 2020.

Next up will be Cian Corbett, digital and innovation marketing manager, AIB who will talk about how AIB is “putting the social back into social media” while showcasing some of the bank’s sustainability content examples from the past 12 months.

Aisling Blake, director global business group, Facebook will then share how diversity & inclusion is a core value for Facebook and its positive impact as a business strategy with her presentation “The Future of Business Equality.”

The keynote speaker on the day, Christopher Kenna, CEO & Founder, Brand Advance, will then speak about how from social to content, Brand Advance understands that the key to meaningful brand growth is diversity. Kenna will also share how to boost your brand, enabling you to see growth within demographics outside of the “mainstream”.

As IAB Ireland members collaborate with a shared sense of purpose in establishing the Gold Standard in Ireland, the next presentation will consider what this global set of standards has achieved since its development in the UK in 2017 .  Jules Kendrick, MD, UK & Europe, Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG), Ryan Uhl, brand strategy director, Mail Metro Media and Stevan Randjelovic, director, brand safety and digital r isk EMEA, Group M will share their positive experience of the Gold Standard in the UK market and its impact in growing trust and confidence in digital advertising.

The final two presentations will look at the evolution of technology in meeting customer needs in this time of lockdown with Monica Majumdar, head of strategy, Verizon UK sharing Verizon’s research showing how with the accelerated growth in time spent online, audiences are embracing more immersive experiences with brands.

Finally, Ruben López-Pulido, director, Spanish Tourism Office will share how they have been using this time of disruption in the travel industry to gather Buyer Persona analysis to help personalise marketing campaigns, and increase ROI as well as improving the customer experience.
