MJ Flood Technology and Promogroup Ireland have teamed up to launch a new digital out-of-home (DOOH) network around the country beginning in the first week in June.
The new digital network will bring together MJ Flood’s digital and technology expertise and Promogroup’s marketing and OOH knowledge with the launch of 146 digital screens located in 124 Applegreen service stations around the country.
Each high-bright 55-inch portrait screen will be larger than any other screens that are currently in use in forecourts and convenience store locations. The outdoor units are 2000 cd/m2 bright and are high definition and allow for dynamic and programmatic content delivery. Digital signage analytics and interactivity are also integrated into each unit providing powerful analytics and reporting tools.
The outdoor units are positioned at the entry to each service station while the indoor units are positioned between the service station till area and foodhalls of the motorway service areas (MSAs). Some of the anchor tenants of Applegreen stations include the likes of Costa Coffee, Burger King and Subway and they enjoy considerable footfall.
