Irish Times Media Solutions to Host Seminar on Trust in News

With issues like trust, alternative facts and the growing need for quality news sources looming large on the agenda, The Irish Times Media Solutions is to host a morning seminar with the theme “What’s happening to News?”

As part of the morning briefing and discussion, the Irish Times will also showcase its latest technologies, research and innovations.

Supported by insights from its data & analytics team, guests will hear how our changing world is impacting news reporting and analysis.  Recently returned Washington Correspondent Simon Carswell will also share his experience on both reporting the US presidential election campaign, and interviewing White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

The event will take place in the Lighthouse Cinema on Wednesday March 29th at 7.45am. While places at the event are complimentary, reservations must be made in advance by contacting Lou Conlon at lconlon@irishtimes.com
