Love Irish Food and Exterion Media have announced details of its annual Love Irish Food Brand Development Awards. Now in its fifth year, the winner will receive €70,000 in advertising space, scheduled across Exterion Media’s retail six sheet portfolio, PurchasePoints® and across its retail digital network.

The extensive out-of-home campaign will appear nationally for two weeks and includes print production and digital animation for broadcasting on Exterion Media’s Retail digital network. To mark the fifth year of the award, OwensDDB will provide the winner with a €10,000 creative bursary towards the winning outdoor campaign.

Love Irish Food and Exterion Media will also work very closely with the winning brand to plan a campaign that will optimize their business objectives.

According to Kieran Rumley, executive director, Love Irish Food: “We at Love Irish Food are very proud of the Brand Development Awards. They’re reflective of our core belief, which is to promote and support Irish manufactured food and drink brands. Last year’s winners, Rye River’s McGargles brand was the standout choice from the entries we received.  We are looking forward to another strong response from members again this year. The awards provide smaller Irish brands with the opportunity to advertise to Irish consumers on a national level, giving them a huge opportunity to connect with their target audience and take their brand to the next level.”

Antoinette O’Callaghan, Marketing Manager, Exterion Media added:  “The Brand Development Award is hugely important to us at Exterion Media. Over the last couple of years the winning brands have experienced exceptional sales growth as a result of their advertising campaigns.  As judges, we will be looking for brand owners to demonstrate the drive and passion they have in their products and how this award can be of benefit to them.
