The scene is set for what is going to be the most keenly contested Love Radio Awards with a record 490 entries received by the entry deadline yesterday (January 21st).
Judging of the awards will take place over the next two weeks and a shortlist will then be drawn up. This year’s judging panel is once again chaired by Ian MacTavish, the founder and chairman of Radioville in the UK and one of the leading lights of the radio industry in Europe. He will be assisted by a panel of expert media professionals drawn from the radio industry, advertising and media agencies as well as a number of senior marketers representing a number of sectors.
The Love Radio Awards will take place in the Mansion House on Friday February 19th. Tickets for the event will go on sale next week.
The Awards are now in their fourth year and they celebrate the very best of creativity, innovation and media excellence in the Irish commercial radio sector. This year’s partners include RTÉ Media Sales – Radio, UTV Radio Solutions, CommunicorpOne, Media Central and Classic Hits 4FM.
