Electric Media Drives off with Carzone.ie Business

Electric Media, Ireland’s largest digital advertising sales agency has picked up the contract to sell mobile advertising for Carzone.ie, Ireland’s number one motoring website.

Carzone.ie is part of the Trader Media Group, the UK-headquartered media company that is owned by Apax Partners.  Carzone.ie joins other digital brands such as The Irish Times, MSN, Rollercoaster.ie and Entertainment.ie, all of which are represented by Electric Media.

Across its iPhone, iPad and Android apps, and its mobile site, Carzone.ie generates over 32 million page impressions per month. This traffic comes from a heavily ABC1/Male-biased audience with large buying power, according to Electric Media.

Warren Cray, general manager at Carzone.ie says: We are delighted to join forces with The Electric Media Group. They have a proven track record of excellence in their field and no doubt will enable Carzone.ie to target an increasingly important area for the development of our company.”

“The Carzone audience, combined with their appetite for innovation and progress makes them an ideal partner for Electric Media. We are excited about their mobile offering and look forward to working with Carzone and bringing some exciting mobile campaigns to market,” Michelle O’Keeffe, Managing Director, Electric Media said.
