Guinness Ranks No 2 in Lürzer´s Annual Rankings


Guinness has been ranked in second place in the annual international advertising rankings by the specialist advertising publication Lürzer´s Archive.

Lürzer´s Archive compiles the annual ranking by calculating the most published agencies, clients and creative in its 2013 issues.

VW Volkswagen and Land Rover both reached the top of the client´s ranking internationally, with nine campaigns each appearing in the magazine. The non-governmental organization Amnesty International and Irish brewery Guinness follow with eight campaigns featured. Swedish furniture company Ikea and cosmetic brand Axe tied for third, with six campaigns each appearing.

“The internationality of the top-listed brands and clients at our recent creative ranking shows the diversity of the whole advertising business. Outstanding campaigns can truly appear anywhere”, says Michael Weinzettl, editor-in-chief of Lürzer’s Archive.

Both agencies AMV BBDO and adam&eveDDB saw nineteen creative campaigns each published in 2013, followed by BBH London and Brazilian agency AlmapBBDO (São Paulo), tied with 14 campaigns featured each. Grey London completes the top three with thirteen campaigns.

The top ranked Creative Directors for 2013 are Luiz Sanches Junior, Karpat Polat and Márcia Lima, who each had eleven campaigns published. With ten campaigns, Olivier Altmann takes the second spot, while Jeremy Craigen comes third with nine campaigns.

Since 1984, agencies, clients, creative and art directors, photographers and copywriters have been able to submit their best campaigns and creations to Lürzer´s Archive, a bimonthly magazine for advertising industry around the world.
