Rothco Wins Irish Times Creative Account

Rothco has picked up the creative advertising account for the Irish Times. The account was previously held by Cawley Nea\TBWA.

Last year the Irish Times is embarked on one of its biggest advertising campaigns in its 154 year old history with an investment in the region of €1m. The campaign, which was called “The Story of Why” ran across TV, press, cinema, outdoor and online ran for six months.

The latest figures from the JNRS shows that the Irish Times has an average daily readership of 337,000, giving it nearly 17% of the daily newspaper market while the most recent ABC figure stood at 84,201.  The JNRS also showed that its website www.irishtimes.com had an average of 106,000 readers per day.
