New IDA Ireland Ad Targets US Multinationals

IDA Ireland has launched its first TV ad in four years as part of an overall campaign aimed at securing more foreign direct investment into the country. The new campaign replaces the current “Innovation Ireland” campaign that has been running for four years.

The campaign represents a significant multi million euro spend for IDA Ireland with the 60 sec commercial slotted to run on key business networks in the USA including Bloomberg and CNBC over thenext three years. The TV will be complimented by an extensive presence on digital platforms that target C Suite executives.

Commenting on the campaign Padraig Burns, managing director of Publicis Dublin said, “At a time when the US media is focusing on corporate tax rates, that can be duplicated, it’s important to communicate the key points of difference we have as a nation: an educated workforce, a history of creativity and a track record in foreign direct investment”.
