Aoibhín Lennon has been appointed as the new director of the Outdoor Media Association (OMA), the representative organisation of the Irish out-of-home (OOH) industry.

In her new role, Lennon will oversee the OMA’s development across a range of initiatives within the Irish OOH industry.

An experienced advertising practitioner, Lennon has worked with a number of leading Irish media agencies in Ireland and Australia, including Vizeum, Zenith Optimedia and Mediacom.

“I am delighted to take on the role of OMA Director and I’m excited to work with the association members to help shape the future of outdoor media in Ireland and to drive growth in the sector,” says Lennon.  “I look forward to helping brands and agencies realise the enormous value that OOH presents,” she adds.

According to Colin Leahy OMA’s president: “Significant and exciting developments are taking place in outdoor advertising across the island of Ireland, delivering fresh opportunities for brands in audience reach and engagement.  Aoibhín will spearhead the strategic direction and future development of our industry, helping secure the positive impact our medium makes on marketing communications for our advertising clients.”

Members of the OMA include Clear Channel, Global and JCDecaux, PML Group and Talon.
