Irish Radio Industry Pays Fitting Tribute to Gay Byrne

At 12pm today, the Irish radio industry paid a fitting and heartfelt tribute to broadcasting legend Gay Byrne, who sadly passed away earlier this week.

To mark the broadcaster’s passing, the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland worked with the Dublin-based agency Boys and Girls to create a radio ad  that  was both fitting and respectful while acknowledging his immense service to the Irish broadcasting industry down through the years.

Rest in Peace, Gay Byrne
