Cannes Young Lions Competition Underway With Over 100 Entrants

With the Cannes Young Lions competition currently underway in the Dublin Convention Centre this weekend, over 100 entries were received for the annual competition, setting a new record in the process, according to IAPI.

With seven categories, the largest number of entries were received in the media category, closely followed by digital, IAPI says.

IAPI has also unveiled details of the different charities that are benefitting from this year’s competition. They include CMRF, the chosen charity for Print and PR categories; ENAR (European Network Against Racism) which is  the chosen charity for the Film & Young Marketers categories; Fairtrade, which was has been allocated to the Design category and SpunOut.ie, the chosen charity for Digital.

The sponsors and partners of this year’s competition include INM, Core, JCDecaux, Wide Eye Media, DMG Media Ireland, PRII/PRCA, ICAD, the Marketing Institute, Pull the Trigger and Choose Radio.
