Wilson Hartnell was the big winner at the recent 2018 PR Awards, bagging five awards, a record haul for the company.

The achievement follows on from Wilson Hartnell’s success at last month’s SABRE Awards where it won gold for Best Sponsorship in the EMEA region for its work on AIB’s GAA sponsorship.

The agency picked up winning entries in the Best Consumer Campaign (€20k – €50k); Best Consumer Campaign (€50k+); Best Use of Digital PR; Best Use of Sponsorship (€50k+) and the Best Public Relations Event.

According to Sharon Murphy, chief executive, Wilson Hartnell: “We are privileged to work with brilliant clients who provide us with the opportunities to bring our strategic thinking and creativity to bear on the campaigns we produce for them. Together we challenge ourselves to innovate and push boundaries. We are really delighted that the results of the team’s huge efforts have received such fantastic recognition in the PR Awards for Excellence 2018.”

The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) marked a landmark 25 years celebrating excellence in public relations, as it held the annual Awards for Excellence in PR, 2018.

Nineteen Awards for Excellence were presented across a wide range of categories recognising the variety of public relations activity. Among the Award winners was Louise Walsh from Drury Porter Novelli who won this year’s Young Communications Professional of the Year.

Other winners included Drury Porter Novelli, Teneo PSG, TRA Brands/The Reputations Agency, Springboard PR & Marketing, Murray and Legacy Consultants.
