DMG Media has won this year’s annual Heineken Media Immersion Day.
The ‘Collaborate to Innovate’ theme was specifically designed to encourage the media owners to join forces and team up with other media owners in order to create more seamlessly integrated ideas that connect better with people and is run by Heineken Ireland and its media agency Starcom.
Media owners were invited to choose within five brand briefs to respond to from brands and platforms such as Heineken Rugby, Heineken Credentials, Orchard Thieves, Coors Light and Desperados.
A staggering 69 ideas across all five briefs were presented back, making it the second biggest response to the Media Immersion Day since it launched the initiative in 2014.
DMG Media was selected as the overall winners for its work on Orchard Thieves. The winning selection was based on its response which delivered a full 360 solution for the brand considering the value of CRM, Heineken Trade, innovation firsts and exclusivity to content giving the brand a unique selling point for their upcoming campaign.

The other finalists were Virgin Media Solutions and MediaCentral for Coors Light, Maximum Media for Orchard Thieves, Kinetic for Desperados and The Journal for Heineken Rugby.
