The creative agency Vocal has appointed David Howlett as its new group creative director while former 10CC founder Kevin Godley and professor Aidan O’Driscoll have joined to board of the company.
Howlett is an award winning creative director, who has worked independently as a creative director and writer in-house at a number of leading creative agencies including Radical, In the Company of Huskies and Weapon7. He has worked on campaigns for Aer Lingus, AIB, Guinness, Mars.
Kevin Godley, meanwhile, was a founding member of 10cc and Godley & Creme and is an award winning music video director who created iconic music videos for U2, Hozier, Duran Duran, Sting, Rod Stewart, The Beatles, Blur and Will Young to name but a few. Now living in Ireland, he has been writing, recording, singing in recent years and is one of the co-founders of the music app WholeWorldBand.
Professor Aidan O’Driscoll, meanwhile, is the author and co-author of over 100 publications including journal articles, books, edited books, case studies, refereed and invited conference papers. He is founder and editor of Irish Marketing Review as well as a co-founder of the Business, Society and Sustainability research centre in DIT’s college of business. He teaches strategic management and marketing at DIT, and is responsible for modules on strategic management, globalisation and strategy.
