Boys + Girls has launched a new brand platform and campaign for Very.ie, Ireland’s largest online retailer.
Called “We’ve Got the Very Thing”, it is Very.ie’s first Irish creative campaign in three years.
Social content for the campaign was created by Circle Content, Boys+ Girls’ social first agency, while media is being handled by Spark Foundry, part of Core.
The campaign is built around the different shopping needs of Irish families and positions the online retailer as offering products and payment options to suit those individual requirements.

The campaign launches with a TV ad featuring a mother who encourages her young son’s enthusiasm for singing by buying him a karaoke machine, while simultaneously buying herself noise-cancelling earbuds.
The film is set to Erasure’s 1988 hit, A Little Respect.“Life is full of different needs, wants and priorities. What works perfectly for one person might not work for another. That’s the thinking behind ‘We’ve Got the Very Thing’,” said Catherine O’Toole, head of marketing, Very.ie.
Caroline Keogh, executive relationship director, Boys + Girls, said the new platform was designed to build awareness and consideration for Very.ie in the Irish market.
The campaign is running across television, VOD, radio, YouTube, social media, digital and Very.ie’s owned channels.
“The focus was on creating a media approach that could build awareness for ‘We’ve Got the Very Thing’ while strengthening understanding of what Very offers Irish families,” said Orla White, business director, Spark Foundry.
