Creative and branding agency Dynamo has won Gold at the Transform Awards North America 2026 for its packaging design for Clawtails by White Claw.
The award, in the Best Use of Packaging (Other) category, was presented at a ceremony in New York this week. The work was developed for Mark Anthony Brands International.
The Transform Awards North America (also historically referred to as the Transform Awards US) is an annual awards program organized by Transform Magazine that honors excellence, strategy, and innovation in rebranding, brand development, and corporate identity.
Dynamo was tasked with creating a distinct identity for Clawtails within the US ready-to-drink market, positioning the range between hard seltzers and canned cocktails.
The packaging combines commissioned close-up fruit illustrations with saturated colours and an asymmetric layout, while retaining the White Claw wave as a link to the parent brand.

According to Dynamo, Clawtails generated more than $30m in sales in its first year and ranked as the second-largest flavoured malt beverage innovation in the US in 2025. The launch also reported 77% incrementality, a measure of additional business generated rather than sales transferred from existing products.
Derek McGrath, design director at Dynamo, said: “A Gold is a great night for the team. But the real win happened on shelf, months ago. Mark Anthony Brands asked us to make an idea visible: more flavour, more energy, none of the fuss.
“Thirty million dollars in year one says shoppers saw it. We’re proud of the work, and prouder of what it did for a client brave enough to let White Claw be a little mischievous.”
David Partsons, global head of design at Mark Anthony Brands International, said: “The team at Dynamo really pushed the creative boundaries, challenged our thinking and ultimately delivered a brand identity that is fresh, disruptive and spot on for our audience.”
