Marketing Society Event to Focus on Biased in Advertising & Creativity

The Marketing Society of Ireland is hosting an event that will explore cognitive biases and how they impact on creativity and consumer behaviour on Thursday, April 27.

The event will take place in Bord Bia’s offices on Pembroke Road and will begin at 5pm.

Speakers will include George Webster, account director at System 1 who will argue that we should focus on the inherent biases that unite us all, while Nandini Nandakumar, head of marketing, Spirits at Diageo Ireland will consider bias from a client’s lens and illustrate the importance of making decisions with your head and heart working in tandem.  In addition, Aleesha Tully, strategy director at TBWA\Dublin will show examples of how we can break the echo chamber and these inherent biases as brand creators and guardians, without stifling the creative process.

Additional speakers will be announced closer to the date.
