With data playing an increasingly important role in the day-to-day lives of marketers and advertisers, the Association of Advertisers in Ireland (AAI) is hosting a seminar called “Data Ethics: Current and Future Actions for Advertisers” as part of its Advertisers Toolkit series.

The event will take place next Monday, May 20th in the offices of Dentsu Aegis Network on Haddington Road and will begin at 3.15pm and conclude at 5pm.

The AII has lined up three expert speakers -Catherine Armitage, World Federation of Advertisers; Jamie Barnard, Unilever Global and Lauren Walker from Dentsu Aegis Network EMEA- who will share their views and advice on the actions advertisers and brand owners need to take when it comes to formulating an ethical framework and protect their brand.

Catherine Armitage is Director of Digital Policy, World Federation of Advertisers and provides strategic guidance to brands on some of the digital governance challenges facing advertisers in a data-driven, hyper-connected world. She also runs the WFA’s Digital Governance Exchange forum
