The Dublin-based agency Mediavest, which is part of Core Media, has changed its name to Spark Foundry following a global rebranding of the agency.

Mediavest has been in the Irish market since 1999 and was the first media agency set up within what has grown to be Core Media, Ireland’s largest marketing communications group. Mediavest has been the number one qualitatively ranked media agency in Ireland since 2013, according to independent assessment agency RECMA.

Spark Foundry’s clients include Aviva, BWG, ESB Group, Mars Ireland Ltd, P&G, The Road Safety Authority, Three and Ulster Bank. Last week, the agency announced that it had also added Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard to its client list.

According to Michael Clancy, managing director of Spark Foundry Dublin: “The new vision for Spark Foundry matches the offering and ambition we have in Ireland to combine people, creativity and data to shape the future of media for our clients.

On the back of a number of recent pitch wins including Procter and Gamble and Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, I am confident that we will build on this momentum and continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients as we unlock new and exciting opportunities together.”

One of the leading media agency brands in the world, the name Mediavest can be traced back to 1993 when the media buying arm of D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles (DMB&B) became TeleVest which was subsequently combined with DMB&B’s media planning division in 1999 to become Mediavest.
