Exterion Media Ireland and Exterion Media Northern Ireland, having held ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) certification since 2013, have now been certified under the new set of ISO standards for Quality 9001:2015, and Environment 14001:2015, and also re-certified in OHSAS 18001:2007.

Completing the transition to the new standards is an endorsement of Exterion Media’s achievement in exceeding industry standards and providing exemplary service to clients and franchise partners.

ISO 9001 is probably the most well-known of the standards and sets out systems for quality management within an organisation. ISO 14001 and 18001 governs the framework and processes around effective Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems..

Stewart Smyth Director of Franchise and Operations commented:

“The implementation of these quality based systems in our business in 2013 has been an instrumental support in our growth and success over the last number of years. To now,  achieve certification across the new standards for Quality 9001:2015 and Environment 14001:2015, and re-certification for OHSAS 18001: 2007, is a significant milestone for our business, and underpins our striving objective for quality, efficiency and improvement. The expanded scope of new 2015 standards for ISO 9001 & 14001 sets the bar far higher than before, and Exterion Media will be the first media owner in this market to transition  to the new standards”.
