Bloom Publishes Guide for Challenger Brands

The Dublin creative agency Bloom has launched a new guide to competing as a challenger brand. The short guide sets out in four easy steps how to compete and win as challenger brand.

“Ireland has had a great history of challenger brands. Some of our most successful companies started out this way” says David Quinn, co-director of Bloom. “It’s something in our national DNA. We have specialised in working with challenger brands over the last 15 years and we’ve learned a few things along the way. You could say we are the challenger brand agency.”

He points out that the guide is based on Bloom’s 15 years of experience of working with some of Ireland’s leading challenger brands like Brady Family Ham, JustEat and CityJet.

“The purpose of this guide is to share what we have learned. We know there are other challenger brands out there who are wondering how they can compete and win against the big guys. We wanted to do this for them” says Damian Penco, co-director of Bloom.

“Every market place has a challenger. It is the brand who wants to challenge the established brands and win. Often they don’t have the resources or budgets of the established players. But what they lack in this regard they more than make up for in ambition and drive,” he adds.

Copies are of the guide are available on the agency’s website www.bloom.ie
