Media Awards 2016: Sunday Business Post Wins Media Brand of the Year

Media Brand of the Year Sunday Business Post Winner

The Sunday Business Post won the title of Media Brand of the Year at the annual Media Awards.

In what is always a hotly-contested category, the Sunday Business Post saw off many of the country’s top media brands to bag the coveted title.

The Irish Farmers Journal, meanwhile, picked up the Silver award in this category while Exterion Media took home the Bronze award.

According to the judges, “in a challenging market the Sunday Business Post’s performance was very commendable.  It was great to see a media owner developing content which has won awards from outside of our sector. As we see more and more short format content, it is also very encouraging to see investment in long form content. The Sunday Business Post nurtures talent and gives opportunities from within. It is great to see this and the paper is one of the leaders in independent thought in the market place.”
