IAPI Launches Drive to Promote DIT Course

IAPI has teamed up with digital agency ICAN to promote its postgraduate diploma course in the Dublin Institute of Technology by launching a new video entitled “What if you had a mad idea?”

Over 12 agencies including Owens DDB, Irish International, ICAN, Cawley Nea, DDFH&B, Core Media, eightytwenty and Rothco provided some of the inputs to the video.

According to ICAN, “our client, IAPI, asked us to come up with a concept to promote their postgraduate diploma course in Dublin Institute of Technology. The course is different from those of other Universities as it is fully endorsed by the Irish advertising industry and its employees – 75% of the lecturers and mentors on this diploma course are currently working for Irish agencies, as creative and managing directors, strategic and media planners. Furthermore 93% of the courses’ alumni hold positions in agencies around Dublin. For anyone looking to start a career in advertising, the IAPI course offers the best place to do so. That’s why we created a video called ‘What if…’ which celebrates some of the maddest, creative ideas that were made over the last three decades in Ireland. Many of who are graduates of the DIT course made them possible.”
