Virgin Media Television has partnered with Ireland Fashion Week to make Virgin Media PLAY the exclusive streaming home of selected runway shows and highlights from this year’s event.
As official broadcast partner of Ireland Fashion Week 2026, VMTV will provide free, on-demand access to selected content through a dedicated Ireland Fashion Week collection on Virgin Media PLAY.
The partnership is intended to extend the reach of the event beyond the physical shows and give Irish designers, models and emerging creative talent a wider national platform.
Viewers will be able to watch selected runway shows and highlights on demand during the week, which runs from October 7 to October 12 and is powered by Visa.
Tara Moran, commercial director, Virgin Media Television, said the partnership would help make Ireland Fashion Week more accessible to audiences around the country.
“Ireland Fashion Week is an incredible platform for the designers and creative talent shaping Irish fashion, and we’re delighted that Virgin Media PLAY will be the exclusive streaming home for this content in 2026,” she said.
“This partnership will make Ireland Fashion Week more accessible than ever, giving audiences across the country the opportunity to experience the creativity, innovation and energy of the event for free and on demand.”
Roisin Scanlan, director of operations and head of PR, Ireland Fashion Week, said the organisation’s aim was to build a broader ecosystem around Irish fashion, connecting designers and creatives with audiences and international opportunities.
“Partnering with Virgin Media Television allows us to extend that ecosystem beyond the physical shows and bring the energy, creativity and ambition of Irish fashion to audiences across the country,” she said.
She added that making runway shows and highlights available through Virgin Media PLAY would give established designers, graduates, models and other creatives involved in the event an additional platform for discovery.
The deal also expands the range of Irish cultural and entertainment content available through Virgin Media PLAY, which VMTV has been developing as a free on-demand streaming service.
