DAN Ireland Simplifies Name Under the Dentsu Brand

Dentsu Aegis Network Ireland has rebranded as dentsu, in line with an international rebranding exercise to sees it embrace the name of its parent company, the Japanese Dentsu Group.

“Simplifying the company’s name to dentsu is a logical next step and signifies our group’s intention to unify  our global entities and leverage all of our international & local assets to provide our clients with world class services and business solutions,” says Liam McDonnell, CEO of dentsu in Ireland.

He says the new name change will unite more than 66,000 people globally within the dentsu brand and allow them to deliver on the philosophy of “true client-centricity through open teaming”- the concept of all employees realizing innovation for clients from anywhere.

Historically, Dentsu Aegis Network has managed all the Dentsu-owend owned businesses outside of Japan and it included Aegis Group, which it acquired in 2013, as well as 360i, Amplifi, Amnet, BJL, Grip Limited, The StoryLab, Data2Decisions, Mitchell Communications, Cardinal Path[3] and psLIVE.

Clients of dentsu in Ireland include the likes of Bank of Ireland, Aer Lingus, Dunnes Stores, Vodafone, Energia, AIG, Kerry and Sherry Fitzgerald.
