Elections to the Marketing Society’s Council Now Open

Marketing Society Seeks Four New Council Members

Ten people have put themselves forward for the election to the Marketing Society’s Council. Voting opened this week and will close on Wednesday, December 11.

The ten people- who represent a wide cross section of the marketing communications sector are as follows:

John Dunne, Director – Ignite Digital

Stephen Rust, Joint Managing Director of V360° & The Visualise Group

Sorcha Cunningham, Client Service Manager – News Ireland

Laura Daley, Joint Managing Director – JWT Folk

Aisling White, Festival Director – The Kinsale Shark Awards

Denise Doyle, Managing Director – Retail Republic

Stephanie Lawless, Senior Marketing Manager – Dunnhumby

Caroline Keogh, Relationship Management Director – Boys and Girls

Meadhbh Quinn, Founder – Pinksalmon

Jennifer Power, Senior Media & Marketing Manager – McDonald’s

A place on the council offers an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the debate amongst the marketing and market research industry in Ireland. The position comes with an obligation to attend monthly council meetings, organise members’ events, and commit to a three-year term of office commencing in January 2020.

Those successfully elected will be notified by the 14th of December, and the results will be announced to all members on Friday the 16th of December and their term of office will commence in January 2020 and will last for three years.

Those who will remain on Council include incoming Chair Deirdre Wafer (LinkedIn), David Erixon (RBS), Naomi Staff (Core Research), Olga Murphy (Kantar), Darragh Rea (Edelman), Sarah Probert (Pt78), Sinead Mooney (Red C), Norman Pratt (Weber Shandwick), Maggie Matthews (B&A).
