Jane Madden has been appointed as strategy director with the Dublin-based agency In the Company of Huskies.

Madden is an award-winning strategic planner with over 20 years of experience both in Ireland and the US. She will lead the strategy team and play a pivotal role to deliver strategic brand and communication solutions.

She began her career in San Francisco working on the iconic ‘Got Milk’ campaign with the renowned ad agency, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, before returning to Ireland to work with a number of different agencies including McCann Erickson, Publicis Dublin and more recently Vizeum, where she was head of strategy for the past four years.

“I am very excited about my future with Huskies,” she says. “Their magic and machines offering is, I believe, unique in the marketplace. I have worked on both sides of the advertising business and I know how rare it is to find an agency that can effectively harness the power of technology and creativity to drive business growth. Their passion for big brand thinking and innovation is infectious and the agency’s body of work and client list speaks for itself. I’m looking forward to working with the wider team who are smart, ambitious and passionate about finding new answers to new problems.”

“Huskies is focused on having the best talent doing the best work that delivers results for our clients, and we’re delighted to have Jane join the board,” says Brian Leonard, managing director, Huskies.

“The agency is experiencing rapid growth after picking up some global accounts and industry awards. Jane’s appointment, one of the most respected figures in planning, will strengthen Huskies reputation as an agency that combines creativity with expertise in digital to produce transformational results for our clients. Her wealth and breadth of expertise and naturally collaborative manner make her the perfect planning leader. We couldn’t be happier to welcome her to Huskies.”
