BBDO Dublin Wins GAA Creative Account

BBDO Dublin has picked up the creative account for the GAA following a competitive pitch process. The partnership will see BBDO Dublin handle all advertising and creative services for the GAA. The agency selection comes as the GAA embarks on a brand revamp that will see the launch of a new fully integrated brand campaign in 2019.

“This is a huge win for us at BBDO Dublin,” said Neal Davies, CEO, BBDO Dublin. “To be selected as the lead creative agency for the GAA, an organisation that is such an intrinsic part of Irish culture is a tremendous honour. That the GAA have bought into our team, and our way of thinking is a real show of faith and we couldn’t be happier.”

“2019 is going to be an exciting year on and off the pitch for the GAA and we’ve worked hard to find a team of creative partners who not only share in our vision, but also in our passion for the GAA and what it really means to people the length and breadth of the country and beyond,” said Noel Quinn, GAA Senior Marketing & Media Rights Manager.

BBDO Dublin will lead the creation of a revitalised brand platform and fully integrated campaign that will include all competitions, from the GAA All-Ireland Championships to the Allianz Leagues and the AIB GAA Club Championships. The team at BBDO Dublin will work in partnership with the GAA’s in-house marketing team.
