Epsilon has appointed Mark Fiddes as its executive creative director for its EMEA operations.
Fiddes will help to lead Epsilon as the company expands in the EMEA markets, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the role. “Mark brings together world-class creative expertise with in-depth industry knowledge, it’s great to have him on board.” said Phil Cottier, managing director of Epsilon EMEA.
Fiddes previously worked as a creative director for HCCL and IMP, and as global creative director on Reckitt Benckiser globally as well as Jaguar in Europe. He then went on to work with DraftFCB London before setting up IdeaMotel three years ago with ex-JWT creative director Charity Charity.
“The biggest challenge to our industry right now is relevance;” said Fiddes. “For brand communication to be effective, you need the kind of big data insights that Epsilon offer. Only then does the synergy between content creation and traditional advertising become possible. This is where you’ll find today’s breakthrough thinking.”
The appointment is the next step in Epsilon’s programme to build full service strength in-depth across Europe. Last year in the US, Epsilon was rated the No 1 agency across all disciplines by the industry publication Ad Age.
Epsilon has offices in in Dublin, Soho, Teddington, Paris, Madrid and Dussledorf and its client base includes Google, Jaguar Land Rover, Dell and Procter & Gamble.
