Chemistry Wins Irish Cancer Society Creative Account

Ray Sheerin, Managing Director of Chemistry

Chemistry has picked up the creative account for the Irish Cancer Society after a three way pitch between McCannBlue and Persuasion Republic.

In the past both McCannBlue and Persuasion Republic, which is headed up by John Sutton and Charlie O’Neill, carried out work for the Society. Chemistry, however, will no handle all the creative work going forward.

With annual income in the region of €20m a year, the Irish Cancer Society is one of the largest charitable organisations in the country and it provides a wide range of important support, counselling, research, information and advocacy services.

“There are very, very few people who have not been affected by cancer, directly or indirectly; it’s something everyone in the agency cares deeply about and has a vocational interest in doing what we can to help. So we are delighted to be working with the Irish Cancer Society,” says Ray Sheerin, managing director of Chemistry.
