RSS FeedIrish Times Prepares for Six Nations Coverage
Following on from Ireland's Grand Slam heroics in 2009, the Irish Times will be stepping up its rugby coverage this year with its popular Fantasy 6 Nations competition and a 46 page colour supplement on the Six Nations tournament, both of which have a number of sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
The Fantasy 6 Nations game will be hosted online on irishtimes.com with weekly league tables printed in the Sports section of the Irish Times. The emphasis of the game will be on fun and interactivity. The Irish Times has a strong and loyal rugby following indicated more recently by the success of The Irish Times Grand Slam book.
The 46 page preview to the 6 Nations magazine will also be published on February 3rd and will feature views and analysis from journalists such as Gerry Thornley, Liam Toland, Johnny Watterson, Gavin Cummiskey and more.
Seperately, the Irish Times has also issued a call for entry to the best Innovators in Ireland for the Innovation in Business Awards which are being run with InterTradeIreland.
