Goosebump Rolls Out Campaign for Turn2Me

Goosebump, the creative services agency based in Francis Street has collaborated with mental health charity Turn2me to produce a new campaign. The charity has been in existence for over 10 years and has a clearly defined role in the area. “Our Online Support Groups are facilitated by mental health professionals and Online Counselling is provided by professional counsellors and psychologists”, says Jennifer Griffin, general manager of the charity.

“We try and deal with people at an early stage, when they are experiencing difficulties, before it comes a life-threatening crisis. Bringing this role to life was the brief we gave to Goosebump, once they volunteered to help, and we believe the work they have produced is really emotionally strong and impactful. It brings to life, in a very real way, how mental health challenges can manifest themselves in everyday activities, it about recognising the warning signs and acting on them”.

Alana Dwyer, account director at Goosebump, described the task as some they felt compelled to do. “There are twenty-five people working in Goosebump, and every one of us has a story to tell concerning mental health. Whether it’s a friend or family member and I’m sure the same is true of every organisation. So, it was great to have the opportunity to create this work to support the great work Turn2me do. We wanted to create work that avoided the cliché and felt like it gave a different and fresh insight into the issue”.

“We must also thank Paul Holmes and Brian Durnin of Red Rage for directing and producing the film. Trevor Hart for shooting the stills. Steve Lynch of Stellar Sound for the music, Windmill Lane Pictures for Post-production. Avondale Studios for audio mixing and the entire cast and crew”.
