Bayes & Becker, the market research firm headed up by David Cullen has acquired the Opinions Market Research arm of WIN | WIN, the reward and loyalty specialist for an undisclosed sum.
Cullen is a former managing director of OI Research and RED C Research. He is also a former director of Millward Brown Ireland.
According to Cullen, the sale will ensure continuity for existing clients of Opinions.ie and expand the suite of services available to Bayes & Becker’s clients.

As we begin to roll out our ‘refresh and build’ strategy we will bring new research solutions to the market and provide a new option for research buyers looking for a partner that can connect research to strategy and support confident, decisive action,” he says.
With a high-quality online panel, strong analytical capabilities and a number of proprietary tools, Opinions offers a Bayes & Becker a platform on which to build and Cullen says the company has ambitious plans for the business in 2020.

“We set up the Opinions Market Research business in 2016 to allow our clients to get a deeper understanding of their customer’s needs before launching their loyalty and engagement initiatives. Over the past three years the Opinions business has become very successful and developed its own base of almost 30 clients. Following the recent acquisition of an established loyalty business in Scandinavia, however, we felt this was a timely opportunity to cash in our investment and ensure the Opinions business continued to grow under new management.”
