Having reported on local Cork news for local Cork people for over 126 years, no one knows Cork quite like The Echo newspaper.
To mark their official rebrand from ‘The Evening Echo’ to ‘The Echo’ this month, the local daily newspaper has launched its first ever brand campaign. Spread across outdoor, press and radio, the ‘As Cork As’ campaign demonstrates The Echo’s knowledge of Cork through illustrated depictions of various aspects of life and culture in the city, as well as its iconic sounds, such as the famous Echo boy chant.
The campaign reinforces the important role The Echo plays in local communities across Cork and highlights its strengths in reporting on local news and sport, as the Cork people’s paper.
