In the Company of Huskies has appointed five new staff to its board of directors. Damian Hanley, Jude Healy, Rob Shine, David Hayes and Brian O’Driscoll will join founder and CEO Jonathan Forrest on the board.

Hanley and Healy have joined from Rothco and will take up the roles of creative director and deputy creative director, respectively.  Prior to joining Rothco, Hanley worked in Young Advertising and Irish International. For his part, Healy also worked for Rothco, having previously worked for Ogilvy & Mather and WCRS in London. Rob Shine, meanwhile, joins the board as search and media strategy director while Hayes joins as social director. The final appointment sees Brian O’Driscoll joining as finance director.

Commenting on the appointments, Jonathan Forrest CEO of the agency says, “the Huskies team now offers something unique in the Irish marketplace – an agency that marries genuine digital pedigree with a deep understanding of brands and creative firepower. Marketers today know that it’s no longer enough just to show up with marketing messages on multiple channels. The big test today is knowing where to show up on the many platforms out there, how to show up and what to say, in order to drive brand growth. Huskies look forward to becoming the chosen trusted partner of Marketers in doing that.”

In addition to the board appointments, Forrest says the agency has also picked up a number of new accounts recently. These include Cafédirect, Bord Bia’s Origin Green brand and Dolmio, the Mars Ireland-owned consumer brand.
