Marketing Society Event to Address the Power of Creativity

The case for creativity will be front and centre of the Marketing Society’s forthcoming event at which a number of Irish and international advocates for creativity will speak about “the health of creative.”

The thought-provoking event will take place in the offices of experiential and events agency Fuel on Dublin’s Camden Street on April 4 and will feature Amy Rodgers from WARC, Andrew Tindall from System1 and Ger Roe, board creative director, Publicis Dublin.

According to the Marketing Society, the event will showcase latest insight and an empirical view, while also applying the creative lens, to challenge and inspire for your most effective work.

Amy Rodgers leads WARC’s creative effectiveness content, rankings and benchmarking products. Working in the marketing industry for more than 10 years, her expertise lies within marketing effectiveness research, with a focus on producing content to help clients maximise the impact of their creative work. She will share the latest research on creativity which shows that campaigns which are highly awarded for creativity are more likely to be effective and contribute to commercial performance.

For his part, Andrew Tindall of System1 has authored key pieces of industry research that explore emotion and creativity’s role in effectiveness across the entire media mix, including his most recent publication: “Listen Up! Emotion’s Defining Role in Audio Advertising Effectiveness”. Having previously managed brands at Diageo and Bacardi Martini, he now leads thought leadership and global partnerships at System1, advising some of the world’s largest brands and agencies on marketing effectiveness.

Ger Roe, meanwhile, is one of Ireland’s top creative directors and he currently sits on the Publicis Global Creative Council. With numerous Irish and international awards to his name, including several Cannes Lions, EPICA, ICADs and Sharks, he has worked across a wide range of brands, including Heineken, PTSB, Irish Water, Virgin Media and AXA.

The event will kick off at 4.30pm and is open to members of the Marketing Society as well as non-members. To book tickets, click HERE
