Daniel O’Donnell Returns With New Light Hearted Campaign for Gallaghers Bakehouse

Gallaghers Bakehouse, the Donegal-based bakery has launched the second instalment of its  “Bread Made Better” advertising campaign called “The Secret is Out.”

Created by Edelman, the new campaign once again features singer Daniel O’Donnell and highlights the banker’s range of sourdough breads.

The light-hearted ad shows how Ardara, the home of Gallaghers Bakehouse, has become the Las Vegas of the Northwest. With tourists from all over the world travelling to sample its bread since Daniel let the secret out about how soft, much to the locals’ annoyance. As a result, Daniel has become a pariah in the town, and must resort to desperate measures to get his fix of Gallagher’s Bakehouse.

The new ad campaign will run across radio, digital, OOH, throughout March and April. In addition, Gallaghers Bakehouse bread has also partnered with leading influencers, James Kavanagh, TV chefs Lilly Higgins and Sarah Butler, author Gina Daly, and Sarah Berney.

According to Greta Hammel, chief marketing officer for Gallaghers Bakehouse: “We’re thrilled to announce the latest instalment of our Secret Is Out campaign for Gallaghers Bakehouse! Our new range was a game changer for both us and the market, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our wonderful consumers. Thanks to the campaign led by Daniel O’Donnell, we reached more people than ever before and had a lot of fun along the way. In this latest addition to the campaign, we catch up with Daniel in the breath-taking surroundings of Ardara, our beautiful home.”
