Emer Lawn has been appointed as deputy managing director of Starcom, one of the four media agency brands that are part of Core.
Starcom has experienced a strong period of exceptional growth in recent times and, in her new role, Lawn will be responsible for overseeing the company’s continued expansion through the implementation of a focused strategic direction for the business. Clients of the agency include AIB, An Post, Musgrave Group, National Lottery, Samsung, Heineken Ireland, Ladbroke’s and Dixons Carphone.
Lawn joins Starcom from sister agency Mediaworks where she was a board director, having joined the agency from Radical, which was also part of Core, in 2014.
An award-winning communications practitioner with a wealth of industry awards, Lawn led the team that won the Grand Prix at the most recent Media Awards. She also led the social media services team within Core to winning Social Media Agency of the Year three years in a row.

Starcom has also promoted Aisling O’Sullivan to the board of the agency where she will join current directors McGrath, Lawn and Anna Doyle. Within the newly strengthened board, Doyle takes on the role of client relationship director, with responsibility for working with the team in developing tailored programmes to support clients achieve their business goals. Doyle joined the board of Starcom in 2014.
