Cpl Appoints Johnny Sexton as New Brand Ambassador

When he’s not buying a healthy breakfast roll at Mace or training for Ireland and Leinster, Irish rugby international and World Rugby Player of the Year Johnny Sexton has added Brand Ambassador to Cpl, the global recruitment firm, to his CV.

As part of his role, Sexton will take part in the Cpl World Class Talent Series, an eight-part series of events showcasing world-class leaders from across business and sport.

According to the company, “the Cpl World Class Talent Series will be a platform for best-in-class practices, thought leadership and a forum for tackling the important topics around business in Ireland and beyond. Throughout the series, Sexton will transfer his skills on the field into the boardroom, bringing his high-performance mindset including mental resilience, teamwork, leadership and versatility to Cpl and its business clients.”

“I am very excited to be partnering with Cpl’s World Class Talent Series. When I initial discussed the series of events it sounded like a perfect fit and made sense to me. I have learnt a lot over the years from being involved in a high-performance environment through sport. I am very much looking forward to sharing these transferable skills into the world of business and adding value to the Cpl group and their wider customers through the experiences and learnings I have taken from my career to date,” says Sexton.

The Series was launched on Wednesday evening (today) in the Westin Hotel and featured a panel of guest speakers including Johnny Sexton, Cpl High-Performance Consultant and World Rugby Player of the Year, Simone Macleod-Nairn, Irish Life Chief & Group Head of Corporate Resources, Ailis McSweeney, Wellbeing leader Chief of client success at Peptalk and former Irish International Sprinter and Barry Winkless, Cpl Strategy Director & Future of Work Institute Lead, and was chaired by Cormac Loughlin, Group Sales Director of CPL.
