Mirror Media to Sponsor IAB Ireland’s Native Breakfast Series

Mirror Media, publisher of IrishMirror.ie, rsvp.ie and DublinLive.ie, is to sponsor IAB Ireland’s Native Breakfast series.

The first breakfast of the 2018 series took place last week with Tom Mughal, Social Media Manager, Lidl, sharing how Lidl uses native and content marketing successfully in its business.

The Native Breakfast series comprises four breakfast briefings each year on the topic of Native and Content led advertising and features leading advertisers sharing their native campaign stories and learnings with a view to positive promotion and best practice in Native and Content advertising.

The breakfasts are free to attend for brands and invites to attend may be requested from IAB Ireland.

IAB Ireland has been running the breakfast series for the last two years and previous speakers have included Colin Donnelly, Carslberg; Patricia Greene, Volvo; Aidan Power, KBC Bank; Conor Barron, Bord Gais; Mark Brennan, AIB; Paul Carton, Vodafone; Fidelma Browne, HSE and Jennifer Luddy, Danone.

According to Suzanne McElligott, CEO, IAB Ireland: “IAB is delighted to host these breakfasts with our partners Mirror Media, the sharing of case studies and learnings in our market is hugely important, especially in a growth format such as Native and Content Advertising, which grew by 37% year on year in 2017.”

Padraig Sugrue, group sales director at Mirror Media adds: “We’re delighted to partner with IAB Ireland for the Native Breakfast Series this year. It’s great to be involved in this popular initiative which brings brands, marketers, planners and publishers together to share their native advertising stories, share learnings and explore opportunities, all while positively promoting the native advertising product. It’s an exciting area in Irish advertising and it’s great to be part of the conversation.”
