Ad of the Week: Allianz – MyTribe


To support Allianz’s title sponsorship of the Allianz Leagues, MyTribe is an exploration of the communities and families behind the stars in inter-county football and hurling. Allianz prides itself on supporting people in the community and this campaign is an extension of that.

The campaign was created by the Dublin sports marketing agency Fifty-Three Six and takes people behind the scenes with well known GAA players in their home environment and follow them on match day.

This film gives people the unique insight to meet Ryan McHugh, his family members and the wider community, to whom their county and community mean so much. We see the highs and lows of a game day in the Allianz Leagues, told through Ryan’s family.

Filmed in the beautiful setting of Kilcar, the breathtaking scenery makes for the perfect backdrop for Ryan to tell his story.

Fifty-Three Six also managed the distribution of the campaign, which to date has already amassed over 1m videos on social media platforms. The video series continues with David McInenery, member of the Clare hurling team.
