Ad of the Week: 123.ie – Simple is Smarter

In January of 2018, the Insurance landscape in Ireland will be presented with a bold
new message from 123.ie: Simple is Smarter. The new brand platform will launch with a
TVC that looks at the frontlines of insurance-related stress, with a grey hair welcoming
a new arrival on the scene and commiserating over their fate. The scenario is resolved
with a simple statement: “Insurance shouldn’t take a toll on you…”

The TVC marks the rollout of a larger above-the-line campaign created by The Public
House, after winning a competitive strategic and creative pitch earlier this year. After
looking at the strengths of 123.ie and conducting research across Ireland, a creative
campaign was built around all the ways 123.ie simplify insurance. TV is supported by a
national outdoor and digital campaign.

“We’ve had a great time working with the team at The Public House, and capturing
what makes 123.ie unique. We can’t wait to see the response once the campaign is
live.” said Siobhan Lynch, Marketing Manager at 123.ie.

The Public House worked with Piranha Bar on the launch TVC, mixing both live action
and animation. The growing independent creative agency is coming off a streak of new
business wins in 2017, with Green Isle and Tayto Park joining 123.ie as new clients.
Longer standing clients for the agency include Jameson, Paddy Power, Method And
Madness, Just Eat, and Ryanair.
