IAB Mobile Connect 2016 to Feature Mobile Commerce & Mobile Audit Research Results

Global research carried out by the IAB and OnDevice Research has shown that 75% of mobile internet users have purchased a product or service via their smartphone or tablet in the past six months.

Furthermore, in terms of mobile purchase satisfaction rates amongst users in Ireland, 84% are satisfied with their purchases on mobile. This is above the global average of 80%, based on 19 countries worldwide participating in the study.

Alistair Hill, CEO of OnDevice Research will present the further details on the Irish data from IAB Global Mobile Commerce Study at IAB Mobile Connect event will take place in Dublin on October 27th at the Guinness Storehouse. The theme for the half-day event is “Mobile is everything” and the event will also include results of the 2016 IAB Ireland Irish Mobile Audit, which looked at the mobile readiness of the top Irish retail and finance brands.

Other speakers at the event include Jerry Daykin, Partner, Carat Global Media and author of #digitalsense series of articles; Marie Davis, Head of Google Marketing Solutions; Micheál Scully, Entertainment.ie and Hugh Curran, Head of Digital & Social at Atomic.

The event will also include three Mobile related case-studies by Deirdre Currid, KBC Bank; Rossa Butler, Littlewoods Ireland (ShopDirect) and David Murphy, The Irish Times.

The IAB Mobile Connect event will also cover the latest mobile research, best practice and case-studies ensuring brand and agency delegates are well briefed on mobile and gain a better understanding of the opportunities.
