IRS Rebrands and Launches Digital Offering

The independent radio sales house IRS is rebranding as IRS+ and is moving into the digital sales space that it is rebranding to IRS+.

IRS+ has already signed up the popular website Balls.ie as its first digital client. According to the company, IRS+ “will provide the same high level of sales and marketing expertise online as it has brought to local radio through the years.  The launch of the digital arm of marketing and sales services opens new doors to websites which are fast becoming the first point of call for consumers looking for news and relevant content”

Peter Smyth, Commercial Director, IRS+ says,”These are extremely exciting times for IRS+.  This new service is something that the team and I are looking forward to bringing to the market. A move into the digital world was a natural progression and the addition of our very first website, Balls.ie was an obvious partnership. Both Balls.ie and local Irish radio are at the heart of local communities around the country and are continually featuring content that is relevant to our audiences.  With our new digital arm in place, 2014 promises to be a year of significant growth and change.”

Brian Reynolds, CEO, Balls Media said “We are very excited by the partnership with IRS+ and look forward to another year of huge growth and an amazing schedule of sport. We see the link up with IRS+ as a key move in the expansion of what we can offer here at Balls Media”.

Balls.ie has established itself alongside the top sports websites in Ireland and the steady growth of the Balls.ie community has continued, hitting peaks of 2.4m page views and over 400K+ unique site visitors per month.
