Havas and Maxol Show Super Big Support for Rugby Star

To announce Irish professional rugby player Jacob Stockdale as their new brand ambassador, Maxol are using a rising star from within their own ranks: a seven-foot tall Japanese-style mascot named Stockie.

In a series of online videos made by Havas for Maxol, the Super Big Support campaign documents Stockie and Stockdale’s adventures as Jacob prepares for his adventures in Japan.

Adrian Fitz-Simon, Creative Director, said: “Stockie is quite possibly the first and only mascot dedicated to not a team, but a single player. We were delighted to have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for Maxol by devising a campaign with real standout.”
