Extra.ie Partners with Curragh Racecourse

The DMG Media-owned website Extra.ie is sponsoring the Extra.ie Handicap at this weekend’s Curragh race meeting.

In addition to sponsoring the feature race of the day on Saturday, DMG Media Ireland will also be on hand to sponsor the Most Stylish Lady on the day in association with the five star Powerscourt Hotel and EVOKE.ie. According to Garrett Brennan, Digital Editor at DMG Media: ‘We are delighted to partner with The Curragh Racecourse for what promises to be a spectacular days sport and entertainment, the brand fit and warm welcome makes our continuing relationship a special one.”

Meanwhile DMG Media Ireland is busy on a different sponsorship front as this month sees the start of the 2018 Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup competition. It is a unique competition as every junior, intermediate and senior club starts off the season with the opportunity to win the FAI Cup and it’s where junior and intermediate clubs find themselves in the drum with the SSE Airtricity League teams.

As part of the build-up to the final in the Aviva Stadium, The Irish Daily Mail has also launched a special ticket give-away – where every reader can claim a pair of premium tickets to the final.
According to Sinead Lambe, marketing manager of DMG Media Ireland: “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup and be so closely associated with one of the longest running and important competitions on the Irish sporting landscape. It’s a competition that recognises and rewards those people who champion the true spirit of the game.”
