Core Media is ramping up its digital and data offering to clients by hiring an additional 20 staff as part of a major expansion.
The roles are focused on Core’s digital business, across online media, search, analytics, social media and creative technology services. This is in addition to an ongoing graduate programme which will see 10 graduates joining the business on a permanent basis over the summer.
According to Justin Cullen, Core’s chief digital and data officer, the key driver of this growth is the ongoing demand for digital and data expertise from its clients. He adds that these service areas now account for 40% of the group’s revenues.
“Our industry has evolved beyond recognition in the last seven years with an ever-changing consumer and media landscape,” says Cullen. “Our priority is to stay firmly on that curve through continued development of our people and propositions as well as ongoing investment across in deepening and expanding our capabilities.’
Core Media is Ireland’s largest media communications business, with billings in excess of €180m across five media agencies including Clear Blue Water, Mediaworks, MediaVest, Starcom & ZenithOptimedia, Radical, Ignite Research, Publicis Engage, Core Knowledge and Livewire.
